Best place to learn stand up paddle in San Diego

There are several surf breaks up and down San Diego’s coastline. Ocean beach is probably the break with most beginner surfers and stand up paddlers on it. There are several surfboard and stand up paddle rental outfits right near the beach and lots of guys giving surf lessons as well. The best San Diego surf shop is in PB and is call Bob’s Mission Surf. Bob is long gone, but the new owners are the dog diggity. The reason OB is so good for beginners is that the surf is not too huge during the summer months and it is consistent.
